Train Conductor Preview!

Have you ever wanted to conduct trains? Well... Now you can! With the upcoming app titled Train Conductor, you tell trains which track to go to.

To move the trains, you must touch it and then drag to the train's specific track. You can tell what track it belongs to by the numbers on the side of the train.

There are two modes, one mode is the day shift, you must keep trains from crashing and get them on the correct train track. The next mode is the graveyard shift, you guide ghosts to the correct path.

The graveyard shift is my favorite shift. The ghosts move very fast and there are multiple on screen at once. The ghosts can go through each other to get to their track.

There are four different enviroments in total; Alice Springs, Cairns, Sydney, and Melbourne. The different places increase the difficulty of the game.

In Alice Springs you have the easiest of three tracks, Cairns you have four tracks, In Sydney you have five tracks and long Gold Rush trains, and in Melbourne, you have five tracks with one broken section appearing in a different location with each play.

In the graveyard shift, the new levels bring on more tracks and a skull train. You must make sure the skull trains arrive at their destinations. If they crash, Game Over.

This game is Plus+ enabled and come packed with plenty of acheivements.

Overall, Train Conductor is one of those apps you must get. It will keep you intrested for hours and hours. If you don't get Train
Conductor, you are missing out on a great game.

Finger Sling Review

If you love using your touch screen for games, this is thee game for you! Finger Sling is an intense battle ball game where you use your finger to drag a ball to kick other balls out of the arena. The red balls are trying to knock the big blue ball out of it boundaries. You must protect that blue ball! There are levels in which get harder each level. After each level you have a chance to upgrade your weapon. Make the ball bigger, faster, or make the blue ball's boundaries bigger. You earn money by hitting other balls out of the ring. This game is Open Feint enabled. There are achievements based on score, bosses and levels. This game has very high re playability and I come back every time! I give this a 5/5!

Asphalt 5 review

Asphalt 5 Review!

CATEGORIES : REVIEW

All the intense racing you always have at home, is now on your iPhone! Asphalt 5! Developed by Gameloft, is a action packed arcade racing game. It has steady accelerometer controls and good graphics! The game has a small lag on an iPod Touch 1G.

Gameloft has tried to make this game as detailed as possible from the mud on the road to the damage on the cars. The music is great, but if you want to rock out to your own tunes, they have the in game music feature.

What to do in Asphalt 5? Win races and earn money to make your ride more suitable. You will have obstacles including, oncoming traffic, pedestrians, and the occasional police all followed by the weather conditions. All of the gameplay has three different camera angels: close, far and driver seat.

There are 12 different locations within the game including: Aspen, Athens, and Las Vegas. The tracks have snow, ice, and rain on them, and the easiest way to win the races are by taking the shortcuts. You can find these shortcuts on you mini-map.

Asphalt 5 offers: Career, Single Race, and Local/Online Multiplayer. Most people will play Single Race for the pick up and play genre.

The following are the types of games you race:

Normal—Finish in the top 3

Cash Attack—Get all the cash you can

Cop Chase—Eliminate all of the other racers

Escape—Run from the cops

Drift—Drift on turns

Time Trial—cross the finish line before time runs out

Duel—one-on-one racing

Last Man Standing—Don’t finish in last.

There are 33 bikes and cars you can race by unlocking.

Overall, Asphalt 5 is more of a fun arcade racer. If you are looking for more of a Forza real life racing game, check out Real Racing.

For $6.99 Asphalt 5 is easily the best arcade racer on the app store. I rate 5/5

Brain Challenge2

BRAIN CHELLENGE 2by Gameloft
Price: $4.99
Played on: iTouch 1g
Rating: 4/5
REVIEW!
Brain Challenge 2 has been on the App Store for awhile now. It is a very fun challenge game to train your brain!
It includes:
  • 38 minigames in total
  • 30 Mini games for math, logic, memory and focus skills
  • 5 minigames to reduce stress
  • 3 bonus minigames!
  • Never before seen eye training game
The graphics aren't the best and could be be better, but it is still worth playing. In my opinion, this is one of the worst iPhone apps Gameloft has. It has 4 different trainers and plenty more. I rate this a 3/5

New EarthWormJim review!

One of the things that the iTunes store has made me happy about is the successful ports of my old favorite games. Like EarthWorm Jim!

In this game you play as a worm named Jim that with the power of a space suit that fell down to earth he changed to a super hero. Then Jim hears about a plan to take over the galaxy. There are 4 different difficulties of gameplay: easy, normal, hard, and original. There are 16 different levels to play:

New Junk City

Andy Asteroids (mini game levels)

What the Heck?

Down the Tubes

Tube Race

Snot a Problem!

Level 5 (additional level in Level 5)

Who Turned Out the Lights?

For Pete's Sake

Intestinal Distress

ButtVille

In line with the storyline are the cool charecters with names like Bob the Killer Goldfish, Evil the Cat, Major Mucus, Chuck and Fifi, Psy-Crow, and Queen Slug-for-a-Butt. The graphics are amazing, just like a platformer you want to see now a days! The animation could not be better. The game has the occasional lag on my iPod Touch 1G, just like all ports.

The controls are a d-pad or a virtual joystick. There are 3 action buttons that include: jump, whip, and attack. I have found the d-pad much easier to use. There are many power ups including fuel pods and ammo. There are 10 different environments which change the action buttons in each one. Then on the minogame after each level you use tilt controls to dodge objects and pick up objects.

The game has 10 different environments which I think all are awesome! The gameplay is what brought me to wanting the game! One of my favorite levels is New Junk City where it literally is a city made out of old appliances and tires!

Earthworm Jim is like no other worm or human. He can pull his head off for a whip and to attack enemies. If he were human he would be “SUPER HUMAN!”

The only problem is that there is a lack of save points. The only way to save is to beat a level.Overall, Earthworm Jim is one the best platformers out there and I come back and want more every time I exit the game! I give this a 4/5 *****

Bailout Wars Review

Bailout wars is a very addicting defense syle game made by Gameloft.
In it you must protect the WhiteHouse which has the bailout money in it from vicious bankers who want all the money for themselves. In order to protect the bailout you must use your finger to flick the bankers up in the sky, and they will fall back down and splat to a painful death. There are four different types of bankers, the CEO(boss), the tellers(normal), the breif case holders(after you throw them they use there breif case as a parachute), and the helicopter units(medium). There are many games on the app store like this and this is the most fun. This will keep you playing for hours and you will still want to come back for more. I have thought over this for awhile now and have rated this app a 5/5 *****

9,000bc Review

9,000bc is a interesting intense fighting game. In it you must fight of enemies until the rounds are over. Wen you beat a round, you can upgrade and earn achievements through OpenFeint. Me and all of my colleagues could not put this game down! We have played for hours and hours. There are multiple apps like this and none can compare. I had a vote between my workers and they all decided the rank I should give 9,000bc. They decided 4/5, but I had second thoughts. I rate this a................ amazing 5/5 *****!
The only thing that I can think of for an update is, more achievements and better graphics.
